Original Late 18th Century Mahogany Verge Bracket Clock

Original Late 18th century mahogany verge bracket clock , having an inverted caddy top with a brass carrying handle and corner finials , the sides have silk backed frets . The dial is enclosed by a chamfered edge door with quadrant brass frets , there is a strike silent feature within the break arch , the silvered chapter ring encloses a mock visible bob pendulum and a date aperture. The dial is signed by the maker William Turner of London . It has an eight day fusee bell hour striking movement with verge escapements and pull repeat.
