Tortoiseshell Waisted Mantel Clock

A French bell striking mantel clock, that was originally made for the British market. It has a waisted shape case, with tortoiseshell inlaid with engraved brass.The embossed brass dial is behind a convex glass and has enamel numeral plaques. It has an 8 day, hour and half hour bell striking movement made by Japy Frere.
