Walnut Striking "Regulator" Wall Clock

A slender wall clock of simple lines in a regulator style. It has a walnut case, with a shaped base and glass side panels and a detachable pediment and base finial.
The two piece enamel dial is marked by the maker Junghans, it has a gridiron pendulum which is marked R & A (retard and advance) and an enamel beat plaque in the base of the case. The 8 day movement sounds the hours and halves on a gong.
