Mahogany Verge Dial Clock

A original late 18th Century dial clock. It has a turned outer wooden bezel, and a traditional single piece salt box case. The silvered dial has original hands and is engraved for the Maker John Hovil of Rotherhithe. It has a fusee movement,shaped plates and a verge escapement with a bob pendulum.

- Condition The case is in excellent untouched original condition, with its original working lock and hinges. The dial has been resilvered in the past and does show signs of wear. The movement has been fully serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months.
