Small Well Proportioned Light Oak Longcase Clock

A well proportioned longcase clock, in a solid light figured oak case. It has a flat top hood, with a long door and a shaped plinth base. The finely painted 12 square dial has a subsidiary seconds dial, and fine steel hands. It has a 30 hour movement that strikes the hours on a bell. Made by Robert Barker of Chichester, who is listed as a maker in 1839.
