Early 19th Century Oak Longcase Clock

A small, original,solid oak longcase clock dating to the first half of the 19th Century (c.1820). It has an arch top case of simple lines, turned side pillars with brass capitals, with a long door and a bracket base. The arch top painted enamel dial has subsidiary seconds and date dials with a rural hunting scene to the arch and is signed by the maker Richard Clark of Newport .It has an 8 day movement that sounds the hours on a bell.
