Late Victorian Striking Bracket Clock

A late victorian solid oak bracket clock of small proportions. It has a break-arch top with brass corner finials reeded quarter side piliasters and brass bracket feet. The brass bezel has a thick bevel edge glass. It has a brass dial with a silvered chapter ring and a matted centre and a rise and fall dial within the arch to regulate the time keeeping. The 8 day movement strikes the hours and halves on a gong. Made by W&H (Winterhalder and Hofmier of Schwarzwald, Germany)
