An solid oak cased mantel clock, having a break arch top case,brass side columns, chequered stringing , a rosewood panel and boxwood floral inlays. It has a mouulded base with brass ball feet. The 8 day hour and half hour gong striking movement was made by Samuel Marti of Paris.
