Scottish Pine Longcase Clock

An original late 18th Century Scottish longcase clock. It has a flat top hood with a break arch door and side windows, a long door and bracket a feet base. The break arch brass dial has fine engraving with a silvered chapter ring and a name plate signed Ramsay , Bathgate. It also has a subsidiary seconds dial and a date window with nicely pierced period steel hands.. It has an 8 day movement that strikes the hours on a bell.

- Condition The case has been stripped and waxed but not recently, the dial has just been restored and the movement serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed within the UK for 12 months.
