Oak Longcase Clock

A small, well proportioned solid oak long case clock, having a flat top hood, square dial and a long trunk door with a moulded edge. The brass dial has corner spandrels and a silvered chapter ring and is signed homas Nichols, Oundle. The clock has a 19th Century 8 day bell striking movement having beeen converted from the original 30 hour movement.
