Fine Edwardian Mahogany and Inlay Mantel Clock

A very good quality Edwardian mantel clock, in a solid mahogany case inlaid with satinwood and boxwood stringing. The break arch top case has brass side handles and brass ogee feet. It has a convex enamel dial with a convex bevel edge glass and is signed by the original retailer, Maple & Co Ltd. of Paris and London. . The French 8 day movement strikes the hours and halves on a gong and was made by A.D. Mougin and is numbered 58777 as is the original pendulum.
