An Edwardian solid mahogany cased mantel clock with a Gothic lancet top. The case has boxwood stringing and a cental oval inlay in satinwood and brass ball feet. It has a convex enamel dial with a bevel edge glass. The 8 day movement strikes the hours and halves on a gong and is made by Samuel Marti of Paris and is numbered 2277-48.
