C18th Century Style Moonphase Bracket Clock

An unusual C18th Century style moonphase bracket clock in an oak case. The clock has an inverted bell top with a brass carrying handle and corner finials. The main case has brass embellishment, comprising of caryatid sides, quarter lights above the dial arch, and fretted side panels. The dial has brass corner spandrels, a gun metal chapter ring and a rotating moon disk within the arch. The 8 day German movement made by HAC (hamburg America Clock Company) strikes the hours and halves on a bell.

- Condition The case is in very original condition, the brass work lacquer has tarnished giving an aged appearance. The chapter ring has some surface defects. The movement is to be serviced in our own workshops and guaranteed for 12 months. The brasswork and dial can be restored to customer requirements, please feel free to discuss with us.
