Walnut Striking Mantel Clock (Germany, c. 1890)


Description
A solid walnut mantel clock dating to the late 19th Century. The case is of simple form, having a flat top and an ogee moulded base standing on flat bun feet. It has a brass dial with a silvered chapter ring and a matted centre. The 8 day movement strikes the hours and halves on a gong and was made by Winterhalder & Hofmeier ( W & H).

Current Condition
The case has been cleaned, oiled and waxed, the movement has been fully serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months.If you would like a video clip of this clock striking please email us.
