Unusual Circular Carriage Clock (France, c. 1890)
Description
An unusual Timepiece carriage clock with alarm mechanism in a cicular case retaining its original gilding. It has a bow glass front and back and a top circular window. The curved enamel dial has Roman numerals and a subsidiary alarm dial. The 8 day movement has a lever platform. Current Condition The case retains its original gilding, the movement has been serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months . The lever platform has been replaced.
