Serpentine Brass carriage Clock (France, 1890)


A late 19th Century brass carriage clock, with a stylised Japanese influence case. It has a wavy top handle and simulated bamboo corner pillars. and a serpentine shaped top and bottom panels. The white enamel dial is signed by the original retailer The Alex Clark Co.Ltd. Paris. It has a 8 day movement with a lever platform and comes complete with a brass carriage clock key and instructions.

Current Condition
The case has been polished and lacquered, the movement has been fully serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months.

7.50cm wide   15.50cm high   7.00cm deep (2.95 inches wide  6.10 inches high  2.76 inches deep)
