Mahogany and Inlay Arch top Clock (England and France, c. 1910)

An Edwardian period mantel clock. It has an arch top, with a chequered stringing and an inlaid boxwood laurel garland to the front panel, with brass ball feet. It has a thick bevel edge glass and a white enamel dial is signed by the original retailers, Biggs of Maidenhead. The French 8 day movement sound the hours and halves on a gong and was made by Japy Frere.

Current Condition
The case is in excellent original condition, the movement has been fully serviced and is guaranteed for 12 month. If you would like a video clip of this clock striking please email us.
