Edwardian Mahogany and Inlay Balloon Clock (England, c. 1905)
Description
A solid mahogany cased balloon clock. The case has boxwood stringing and a central inlaid satinwood fan. The convex glass has a bevel edge and convex enamel dial with Roman numerals. The 8 day French movement was made by Duverdry and Bloquel and has a cylinder platform movement. A 20% deposit will secure this item for up to 3 months. Current Condition The case retains its original finish, the movement has been serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months.
