Edwardian and Inlay Mantel Clock (England, c. 1905)
Description
A solid mahogany mantel clock with an inlaid case. The sides and front are inlaid with boxwood stringing, and a central satinwood motif. The enamel dial has a convex glass with a bevel edge. The 8 day pendulum movement strikes the hours and halves on a gong and is made by Japy Frere.
